The Power of Play

I was honored to photograph Dr. David Elkind, a noted child development expert, on Cape Cod last week. He was gracious enough to give me a copy of one of his latest books, The Power of Play. This is a topic dear to my heart, as I feel kids today are so overscheduled and lack the "play time" that so many of us took for granted in our childhoods. It warms my heart when I see my son playing Legos for hours on end , or my girls creating stories and plays. David, thank you. I am enjoying your book already.
